SHUi Managing water scarcity in European and Chinese cropping systems

In this webinar, researchers José Alfonso Gómez Calero from Instituto de Agricultura Sostenible – CSIC and Ian Dodd of the Lancaster Environment Centre will introduce us to the SHui project a 4-year project co-funded by the European Union Project: 773903 and the Chinese MOST.

Within SHui, researchers from EU, China and Israel have developed a range of web-based tools to inform farmers of best management practices for soil conservation and water retention, how to maximise tree crop yields despite limited irrigated supplies and how to manage precision irrigation.
