The Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) informs about the use of cookies on its web pages.

There is also a second classification according to the length of time they remain stored in the customer’s browser, being session cookies or persistent cookies.

Finally, there is another classification with five types of cookies according to the purpose for which the data obtained are processed: technical cookies, personalization cookies, analysis cookies, advertising cookies and behavioral advertising cookies.

Cookies used on the web

For the promotion of social networks we are using the Twiter, Facebook and Youtube cookies, so that our visitors can follow us on these networks and on the home page we embed the contents of Twiter and Youtube.

The following CSIC’s own cookies are used: _pk_ses111.6fed, _pk_id.111.6fed, has_js and cookie-agreed. On the other hand, cookies are used to preserve a user’s session state. This is set at 30 minutes after the user stops interacting with the application. JSESSIONID, GUEST_LANGUAGE_ID and COOKIE_SUPPORT.
