5th European Conference on Xylella fastidiosa: science for sustainable management

The 5th European Conference on Xylella fastidiosa organised by EFSA in collaboration with the Apulia Region, IPSP-CNR, Euphresco, CIHEAM and the EU research project BeXyl-Beyond Xylella, will be held from 23 to 25 June 2026 in Bari, Italy.

The conference brings together researchers, risk assessors, managers, and stakeholders to share cutting-edge advances and support evidence-based policy decisions. In addition, the event will address innovative tools and integrated approaches for the sustainable management of Xylella fastidiosa epidemics in olive, vine and almond trees. The results of the BeXyl project will be presented and discussed at the event, as well as projects funded by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (MASAF).
