MEJORA GENÉTICA POR RESISTENCIA A ENFERMEDADES
Identification, characterization and use of sources of genetic resistance in legume breeding, combining the use of resistance with other integrated control strategies. Interest in the development of selection methods, evaluation of collections, intra- and interspecific crosses, inheritance and mapping studies and molecular characterization of resistance to various diseases (ascochyta, rust, powdery mildew, powdery mildew, fusarium, fusarium blight) and pests (weevil and aphid). Search for markers closely linked to resistance both by saturating available linkage maps and by association studies and genomic selection approach.
