MEJORA GENÉTICA POR RESISTENCIA A ENFERMEDADES

 

Identificación, caracterización y uso de fuentes de resistencia genética en la mejora de leguminosas, combinando el uso de la resistencia con otras estrategias de control integrado. Interés en puesta a punto de métodos de selección, evaluación de colecciones, cruzamientos intra?e interespecíficos, estudios de herencia y mapeo y de caracterización molecular de la resistencia a diversas enfermedades (ascoquita, roya, oidio, jopo, fusariosis) y plagas (gorgojo y pulgón). Búsqueda de marcadores estrechamente ligados a la resistencia tanto saturando mapas de ligamiento disponibles como con estudios de asociación y enfoque hacia selección genómica.
